      Pros

      Good company for young and inexperienced to learn project management at shard pace After some years as you make it to senior level the team experience might dissipate, so decide to stay in toxic environment, go up the ladder or take your experience somewhere else. There’s a lot to learn here, but there is only one GE way

      Cons

      About 50% of management does not have experience on the areas they are assigned and do not spend enough time time on one position to have a positive and full impact in teams. Technical acumen looses value because management is usually not experienced enough. Specially after massive layoffs and retirements. Company is top heavy and that has produced a very toxic environment many areas. If you are not management or executive or well connected, then you are not part of the club, that’s why at some point after gaining experience in this place is good to leave.

      Cons

      This is not a good company to work for.. very old school and demoralizing for any employee. This company does not care if you’ve been trough sexual harassment, bullying at work , or if you have personal responsibilities at home. They slave you to work with very low pay. Very toxic environment and no growth for women. Managers don’t event like to recognize others because it costs money. Do not waste your time working here.

      Established company Good for resume Technicians and principal engineers can be smart

      Cons

      No upward career progression Middle managers put engineers through the meat grinder and only care about their upwards advancement Leadership is out of touch Pay disparity is a joke here The worst leaders come here to stay as they can barely be removed. Some teams have 100% turnover. Products are old and legacy, no real focus on emerging technologies
