GE benefits and opportunity to move to other positions within GE organization.

Cons

Lack of opportunities for promotions and career development, management keeps organization separate from rest of GE, negative attitudes throughout organization, lack of creativity and innovation - this group is stuck in time. GE offers excellent training for managers and employees but this group offers little opportunity for employees to attend and participate in most GE training. Poor communications from management to teams throughout organization. Little opportunities to attend conferences to improve organization.

No training. No one wants to help. Temp agency waiting period that takes 6 months, or longer. Way too much over time. They take you from your life.

Some coworkers are great and nice. Nothing else.

Cons

Consider steering clear of the Longmont, CO office. Communication among managers and team members was lacking, with minimal interaction. The focus seemed to be solely on pushing employees to meet the project schedules. Each team member were juggling over 20+ projects and receiving minimal help, even for new hires. Team members received only two emails from their manager per week—one listing overdue items and the other outlining upcoming deadlines.
