Had a defined pension, new employees not eligible Some decent training opportunities but only in soft skill areas, not technical Lots of hard working folks must of whom are helpful If you don't like time with your family you'll love it here
Cons
Number one job seems to be politicking for your next position Constant layoffs then they complain they need someone who has X skill, who they just laid off Management spends most of its time reorganizing and barely understands the work actually being done Insular culture, so wrapped up in the GE culture it can't get over the fact GE isn't all that great a brand anymore Rude nasty people can flourish and are tolerated as long as they can play the game Kings of outsourcing without little concern for quality
