Pros

There are a lot interesting roles which exist to boost young hires and even give older employees a platform to achieve break out. You can choose which role you play with the amount of effort you employ. Pay is very competitive and the employees are being taken care of in multiple aspects while our new form of work develops. The values promoted within are in place to try and form a diverse work force.

Cons

There is a shortage in key leadership roles and this can lead to a poor work life balance for the inspiring engineer. Employee Match and PTO could be more competitive for younger and less experienced employees. The values that the company hold high are good, but sometimes come a crossed as cheesy when compared to the actual work experience/ environment.

Pros

Transit & Rail started out as a good group to work for, before everything became more corporate and bad decisions led to good people losing their jobs.

Cons

Transit & Rail was once a small group that worked well within a certain niche, but now has spread itself too far and thin with far too much talent having walked away or otherwise parted with the company.

GFT Response

Gannett Fleming Transit and Rail has developed a solid reputation for providing exceptional technical consulting and advisory services over the past several decades. We have been growing and of course with growth comes change, as well as some growing pains. Every organization will experience a certain amount of turnover. We have hired some amazing talent through the pandemic and continue to deliver high quality results to our clients in both in the Greater Philadelphia area and throughout North America.
