Pros

Unique approach to call-center work; Diverse Atmosphere; Frequent Attempts to "spice things up"; Awesome co-workers; Really nice work building

Cons

GMF is slowly turning into one of those micro-managing companies that base a worker's value purely off of statistics. It's sad... This was not something I would have been able to say just last year.

Pros

Most people here are nice

Cons

The company generally treats salaried employees poorly, very similar to hourly entry level, no matter what level salaried employee you are. The brand new office enviornment is terrible - small fishbowl cubicles with no walls, workspaces are so small it is hard to turn around in them, managers don't get anything better - they get the same tiny open space. Imagine a tiny workspace with no privacy that is completely uncomfortable and distracting. Benefits are in no way competitive. Health/401k etc are far behind similar companies, you will lose out here. Even worse, you have much less vacation even as a manager than the typical entry level employee at other companies, and you have to beg for sick time (which you earn......OVER TIME!!!) So, just better to come in when you're sick. Given the above, you won't be surprised to learn the culture is very much like an hourly punch the clock culture. They want you to work weekends, evenings, or whenever they need you, but there is almost no flexibility if you need to work from home (forget working here if you think you're going to do this!) or if you need to leave early. Totally ridiculous. Most things are run out of Fort Worth and they are totally and completely out of touch.
