      Pros

      Good/Excellent Products in the respiratory market place. The overall respiratory product portfolio has been the best in the US.

      Cons

      Limited patent life of major Rx product, Advair. Other newer GSK products have not filled the economic void left by new competitors. Business constraints due to corporate violations and the FDA CIA (corporate integrity agreement) has mangled the company and its ability to be healthy, and productive.

      Pros

      Smart colleagues, interesting projects, good working environment overall, Nice culture.

      Cons

      Layoffs, resctructuring, seem to be the norm. Limitations on advanacement / promotion opportunities. Tendency to bring outsiders into higher roles vs. entertain promotion of key talent from withtin. Many were Denied severence when laid off (and were instead given equivalent work at a struggling CRO).

      Very busy, learn a lot, benefits, pay. It also depends on your manager for a flexible schedule. A lot of wonderful people/

      Cons

      reorgs - non to speak of other than reorgs and management should be on the same page. Too much bureaucracy in big pharma
