Pros

Decent pay compared to most Tampa Bay area credit unions, generous paid time off, nice HQ building with a great gym.

Cons

Members of management, beginning with the CEO down to at least the Asst VP level, practice what they call an "open and honest" management style, which means they relentlessly criticize, abuse, and threaten those employees they may not like for any variety of real or superficial reasons. Fail to use the latest buzz word or slogan, you may be accused of not being an employee "engaged in the culture of change." You are encouraged to share your opinion and recommend changes, but your opinion and recommendations better be in line with those of management, or you will regret it. Employee turnover since 2010 has been extensive, but the board, whose members, by and large, have been same for over a decade doesn't seem to be concerned as long as it's members get to keep their company credit cards and continue to get their free; i.e., credit union funded, trips to nice (expensive) places. If you are looking for a job to serve credit union members, this company is not for you.

Pros

I loved the campus and I loved the idea of the culture they so dearly wanted to have come to fruition.

Cons

If you weren't part of the "crowd" you can forget about any longevity or stability for your family. Though there were many people let go it's sad to find out about your own demise before it happens due to the loose lips of an Avp.

Pros

Decent pay, 401k, Domestic Partner Benefits, Gym Membership reimbursement, 4 weeks PTO from the start

Cons

Management on up - very dismissive towards employees, ideas and each other. Very little, very poor communication. Training - or lack there of is horrible for a service organization that wants to create the "ultimate, feel good" experience for it's membership. Very inconsistent across the board with policies, procedures(good luck getting those in writing) and how employees are treated. VERY high turnover rate.
