Pros

- Gainsight's purpose is to be a human-first company and they actually mean it - starting with Nick, the CEO, and trickling down to everyone else in the org. This was the most important thing to me when looking for my next career move, and I'm so happy to say that they aren't just words in a mission statement but they are actually embodied by the whole company. - Recharge days! We all get an extra day off each month - Benefits are great - While I can't speak for other teams, I can say on my team, there isn't any micro-managing. Our schedules are super flexible and are our own to keep and as long as we are getting our work done.

Cons

I really don't have much to say here. The only feedback I'd share (which I've already shared internally) is that I would have loved for the onboarding process to be more interactive. I was the only new hire in my cohort and it made for a pretty isolated and lonely onboarding experience.

Pros

Company seriously takes a human first approach. I haven't worked for a company that promotes work life balance as well as Gainsight. My management team is visible, approachable and communicative. My direct manager is engaged and invested in my professional development and performance. Healthcare benefits are top tier. We have unlimited PTO and Recharge days off, and I have flexibility to manage my day and work as I need and take time for personal things. The company has a very fun vibe, the annual offsite "Cohesion" is definitely the best employee event I have attended. It's also apparent that they source for smart, engaged and passionate people. I really enjoy the people that I work with.

Cons

--No 401K match at this time. --Can be very fast paced from a work perspective, but just make sure to openly communicate with your manager. --While unlimited PTO is great, PTO is not factored out of utilization metrics for quarterly incentive which is a deterrent. --While the company make-up diverse, there are limited POC in executive and senior manager roles.
