Pros

Good culture and friendly staff and colleagues.

Cons

Company has lost a futuristic view and keeps building on a pile of garbage which causes issues for anyone joining new. Just focused on Acquisition and Mergers, not much growth left for existing employees

Thanks for sharing your perspective and for being honest about how you see things. To keep up with the pace of change in agentic AI, we’re balancing both organic innovation and M&A. For example, Staircase AI has been a tremendously successful acquisition, while the Atlas Agent, built by our existing team, is blowing people’s minds and already has a long waitlist for early access. Our legacy code base may be mature, but it has stood the test of time, powering some of the world’s largest companies. We’re now modernizing it with agentic coding tools to move even faster. I do appreciate the feedback and wish we could have given you a better experience. Cheers, Chuck

I’m glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with our culture and flexibility. You’re right that some of our processes can move slower than we’d like, and we’re working to streamline them while continuing to scale. I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. And congrats on a great run at Gainsight! Here's to many more years of success. Cheers, Chuck

Pros

Remote Strong Brand Good people

Cons

CRO is absolutely awful. Emotionally makes decisions and fires people within days. Can’t put a comp plan together to save her life. Shredding the culture from the inside out. Keeps weak leadership around. Don’t get on her bad side or you’re out.

I can tell this feedback comes from a place of frustration. Leadership transitions are never easy, and I understand how they can create uncertainty. I’m very proud of our Human-First culture and the foundation it’s built for Gainsight. At the same time, SaaS is undergoing massive transformation in the agentic era, and we need to evolve how we operate if we’re going to retain our leadership position. I stand behind our leadership team and the direction we’re taking to strengthen Gainsight for the long term. - Chuck
