Pros

There is an Achieve program that fast-tracks new employees into the insurance industry to eventually promote to an Account Manager role. You get to travel to their home office in Illinois for training and complete a CLCS course with The Hartford. You get to meet other Gallagher associates from all over the nation that participates in the program. The CEO is very humble and eats in the cafeteria area with everyone else.

Cons

Be weary of smaller offices, especially ones that were acquired and kept their original team. There is a "clique" atmosphere, a lot of office politics, and favoritism. Poor work-life balance because you are expected to work overtime, network even during your lunch hour, and little guidance from management.
