I feel betrayed

Pros

Good location. International brand. The tech stack is modern. Some truly talented people are trying their best to make things work.

Cons

- The company makes millions telling other organizations how to lead—but can’t seem to lead itself. - Toxic leadership culture masked by performative "transparency" and endless buzzwords. Execs talk a big game about innovation, but every major decision is made behind closed doors and without employee input. - Leadership and senior turnover is constant. There has been zero accountability from the round of 50+ layoffs, or what they call, restructure. - There is no consistent standards across teams. If you get a bad go-to (manager) or tech lead (and you probably will), you're stuck. - You’ll be asked for input constantly, but if you ever speak honestly, expect retaliation or career stagnation. - Burnout is treated like a badge of honor. Unrealistic deadlines, shifting teams and priorities, and zero resource planning are the norm. - Zero clarity on growth. Don’t expect mentorship or support—just pressure. - They weaponize culture. The company loves to talk about values and “psychological safety,” but it's all branding. Behind the scenes, people are anxious, overworked, and constantly watching their backs, specially after what just happened. Gallup has lost its humanity. It's hard to reconcile their latest decision with the fact that the company just reported record profits. The disconnect between what they preach and how they operate has never been more obvious. I’m deeply disappointed—and I can say with certainty that I’ll never return. If this review spares even one person from going through what I did, then it served its purpose.
