Pros

Great brand - or was. Gallup was sold to the Clifton family and they have tried to maintain its great name and position. The employees are top notch and quite possibly the most "passion driven" bunch there is. The company was established on strong integrity and great science, but sadly that has been compromised through very short sighted leadership and self-serving "family" decision making.

Cons

Leadership has met their goals and feel no compelling reason to revitalize earlier mission towards innovation and compelling vision. The group leading the organization has become so insular that any outside input is quickly shut off. It seems that the real talented people who have built Gallup to where it is have left. Why do they chase away there thought leaders?

Pros

You are surrounded by smart, capable young professionals who clearly want to make a mark. The ideals that the company is based on is great and theory and the work-life balance is relatively good.

Cons

Company is under the delusion that they practice what they preach. You would expect that from a place that puts an emphasis behind "it's the manager" they would have better managers. Sadly, not the case. Job reels you in to make you feel like a part of something bigger, something important, as if the Clifton Strengths are going to end wars and solve world hunger. Ultimately, it is a facade to hide the fake corporate presence that is very evident, and no, the paycheck certainly doesn't match.

Pros

* Strong brand and reputation * Knowledgeable Board of Directors * Talented legacy workforce built under prior leadership. * Hybrid schedule allowed * On-site Caffeteria * Beautiful office locations

Cons

* Leadership now prioritizes revenue over employees. * Multiple large layoffs, including a 50% reduction recently. * Employee engagement is low; many are actively job hunting. * Fear-driven, high-pressure culture; 80+ hour weeks norm * New hires are out-of-state. * Exit agreements all include gag orders for posting reviews. * Unrealistic sales goals. * Practices the company sells to clients are no longer followed internally. * As a third-generation family business, it’s following the common pattern—only ~13% survive past the third generation
