      Pros

      Many good people still work at this company, beautiful campus

      Cons

      Large sudden layoffs (rumored almost 25% of technology + more in other departments), eroding culture (imo linked to the turnover of almost the entire C-suite in the last 4 years), hypocrisy (how can you sell a certain culture and "employee engagement" but internally treat employees like nothing more than expense on the balance sheet?)

      Used to be a good work culture and environment

      Cons

      The new CTO’s leadership has been deeply disappointing, and it’s frustrating to see the CEO speaking publicly about valuing people and promoting good leadership while making decisions that contradict those values. It’s hard to reconcile those statements with the recent layoffs, especially seeing talented colleagues let go. I hope the CEO starts receiving better guidance moving forward.

      -some of the people are awesome -flexible hours

      Cons

      -managers with the right "strengths" promoted over people with the right skillset -unclear alignment between leadership and staff -arbitrary punishments for demonstrating initiative and wanting to excel -older employees going on power trips. Just because they've lasted 20 years at the company doesn't mean they are any good at what they do, they've just had more time to instill fear into others -overall low compensation for the area and work
