Pay isn't competitive for any position in the company. Monthly meetings where management talks about how much money the company has made and how well the company is doing but when it comes to sharing the profit, employees get a 2.5% annual raise. Every year the pay increases and bonuses get worse. 5% to a 2.5% raise even though job responsibilities and expectations have increased and the company continues to grow. Gamber doesn't keep up with the cost of living so over time you start to realize you're making less money than you were when you started.
From production workers to office staff, people working at Gamber feel like they are not well compensated.
Benefits aren't good either. Only 2 weeks vacation, bad insurance coverage, and the building is old so there aren't any nice amenities like an upgraded break room. There is a foosball table, 3 fridges, and a few microwaves in the break room, and one t.v. that loudly plays local news or soap operas. Only one break room so there is no privacy if you need to make a phone call or need a quiet spot.
