Pros

- Talking about any and every video game with customers - Chill atmosphere (depends on location) - Employee discount - Potential dibs on products that come into the store

Cons

- Mainly solo shifts - Need to constantly sell products and services - Knowledgeable in not only video games but card grading + pop culture - Responsibilities that are not equal to the pay - Having to be open availability but given on average <20 hrs per week for the part timers - Pay is very barebones - No bonus incentives

Pros

Pretty low stakes retail environment. Compensation not driven by performance.

Cons

If there are no staffing issues in your area, low performance could lead to fewer hours
