Cons

Complete inability of business to prioritise results in near-constant state of crunch. When picking two of time, quality and scope, business only ever picks time. Way too happy to hit a date, celebrate it as a success and then ignore/never prioritise the mountains of tech debt generated. Keeps appointing agencies that deliver sub-par work, being surprised the work is sub-par and then expecting its internal teams to own it. Chronically and persistently understaffing and under rewarding its internal teams. Absolutely no opportunity for promotion unless someone above you vacates. Job security is gone now the business is focused on cost controls.
