Pros

Decent work life balance Regular bonuses

Cons

Games Workshop is very flat. Promotions are rare and you have to be a sycophant to get them. It doesn’t matter how much time you spend, it matters how much butt you kiss. If you’re ok just being a sales person for a decade and not getting anywhere, boy do I know of a job for you. Any aspirations of moving up are completely contingent if people don’t railroad you your entire career and if you’re deemed worthy, even though you spent time teaching your manager about the business, a job you applied for and got denied for. When it comes tow workplace accommodation, their definition of reasonable is middling at best. If you don’t like loud noises, people screaming to have a floor meeting because they can’t send an email or you have any type of anxiety, stay away from this place.

Pros

-Brilliant team members who can make this job really special. -90% of people at the company are the nicest people you will ever meet or work with. -Bonus twice a year which can bring pay to an almost average level for this industry. -Discount on Warhammer products -This would be a great 1st job for someone in this field.

Cons

-Inexperienced line managers who simply want to climb a ladder with no interest of leading a team and zero accountability. -Interdependent communication is strangely over complicated. -Everything is super slow in terms of process, access and making simple decisions. -Online facilities are exceptionally poor and slow everything down. -IT are stretched way beyond thier limit. -No career progression for this field. -lots and LOTS of meetings that lead to nothing. -Below industry standard salary -That remaining 10% may eventually cross your path.
