Pros
Pay was ok at manager level. Anything below an assistant was paid well under market average. Associates paid minimum wage and we were told on a national call that will never change no matter what other retailers are doing because "that is not the company model."
Cons
So many to list - workload vs. payroll to complete it. Schedules are completed 2 weeks in advance but company always increases workload last minute without schedules to support it. I have never seen a company who has so many conference calls that add 0 value to anything but give upper field a reason to say they did some sort of work for the month by reading numbers off a screen that we all have access to everyday. -too many Chiefs and not enough Indians I have never seen a company operate with so many upper field positions that serve no purpose. The top really has no clue what is really going on in the stores because middle management spends exorbitant amounts of payroll to clean up a store before a visit to put on a unrealistic show vs giving management a clear picture of what reality is.
