Pros

There were miles of distribution flow to understand about how efficiency can work well to finish each job on time and within the budgeted cost planned.

Cons

The daily operations were only concerned with speed, not efficiencies. There are no outlets for usage of all brain power on site to maintain and innovate strategies for success.

Pros

Good people, fun atmosphere, skilled management at retail level.

Cons

GapCards, GapCards, GapCards. I know there is a lot of pressure on store managers to hit GapCard goals that come down from above; however, good customer service is often put secondary as a result. Associates are constantly reminded to constantly remind everyone that walks through the door about GapCards. There is a fine line between informing customers about a promotion and pestering or haranguing them about it. I feel that line is too often crossed.
