Pros

The work life Balance is pretty good here. There's an emphasis on getting work done in a timely manner and pulling more people in if you end up in a time crunch. I've never had to work more than 40 hours since I've been here. The benefits are also pretty incredible; I don't think there's anyone who can beat the 401(k) matching here, the health insurance is very good and this discount on Garmin products is legendary. If you're working in Olathe, you'll also get access to the Garmin gym and free fitness classes.

Cons

Base pay could be a little higher, and Garmin isn't a company to give out giant bonuses. Opportunities for growth can be slow to appear here as well.

Pros

Garmin has the best culture I’ve experienced. I don’t feel overworked and the people are great to work with. Benefits are great and 401k matching is awesome!

Cons

It can take many years to move to a higher salary position. In general, pay compensation is acceptable, but not amazing.
