Pros

Overall, my personal experience over at Garmin has been nothing but positive. Teammates are great and we all are passionate designers in wanting to build personal experiences for our users. Health benefits are amazing as well for individuals and family. 401K is also great. Everything when it comes to benefits make sense and provide reasonable accommodation.

Cons

Lack of pay. The amount of work that gets placed into the work that you do doesn't compare to the amount you receive for your salary. Design choices are limiting in ways that follow a traditional, more conservative approach. There is not a lot of risk-taking due to the company culture when it comes to design work.

Pros

My team members are great people to work with for the most part. Garmin's products are also extremely impactful for a lot of people. 401k match is great

Cons

The salary is below market value. Vacation policy is staggered to benefit those that stay a really long time at the company (thus newcomers don't get as many vacation days). No yearly bonus.
