Pros

They offer good pay for the field. Their benefits are very affordable. Great work/life balance. Opportunities for advancement are available if willing to put forth the effort.

Cons

I can't really think of a lot of cons. If you are willing to put in the work that is expected of you, opportunities are made available to you.

Pros

Relatively interesting technology, good for your resume, relatively easy low cost of living in the area. Nice medical plan. Excellent facility, free parking.

Cons

High turnover, no ability to work from home. Aging technology base. Shrinking market segment. Stubborn management, inbred management team. High fraction of H1B. Funny to be in a meeting where your watching four or five engineers trying to argue in a language most can't speak fluently.
