Pros

Garmin is a very young company meaning that it is not your typical business environment. It is sstill ran by the first engineer, Min Kao, who created the company and has not had to downsize by having analyst come in and make cuts. I don't believe anyone has been let go due to financial problems. Garmin is also a great place for people right out of college. The senior staff are still young and able to relate to the new employees. and it lets the workers feel free to express ideas.

Cons

The company is so large you sometimes get left behind if you don't press yourself hard.
