Pros

Office space is amazing. Most everyone you work with loves their jobs. Lots of little perks. Benefits are great. Work life balance is amazing.

Cons

Pay is extremely poor and low. Promotions are rare and unlikely. There are no pay negotiations and will be told “benefits are great.” Benefits don’t pay the bills. Very Engineer focused so don’t expect to make work that isn’t outside of pushing numbers and stats. Very little room for creativity and is seen as defiance. No work from home options. Airport food prices for the vending machines and cafeteria. Business model is wacky.

Pros

Decent benefits, variety of health plans, 75% 401k match, 15% stock discount (up to 10% of salary), modern facilities, generally good co-workers (friendly, willing to help)

Cons

Low pay for GIS field (pay is $15-20k below a friend in a similar position/years of experience), strict cyber-security policies, no full remote work option (home 2 days/in office 3 days per week), general feeling of unimportance compared to other types of jobs within the company
