Pros

Good atmosphere. I like my supervisor. Benefits (PTO, holiday, Roth 401k, medical/dental.)

Cons

Please don't consider this as complaining, but it is true. Extremely low pay for assembly line employees (day shift,) Even with 4 years of experience, I am still making less than $18.00/hr. I realize this is not a high-level job, but I would make more if I worked at the "In-N-Out" restaurant. Seriously. I want to attend college so I can get a promotion (higher salary,) and although Garmin offers educational tuition reimbursement they will only reimburse 100% if the student/employee receives an "A". If a "B" then 80% If a "C" then 50% Just because someone receives a "C" grade does not mean that the student didn't learn/absorb just as much of the subject as someone with an "A" grade. Potentially, this person can memorize better, and therefore, score well on tests, but this doesn't mean they absorbed the subject. I barely make minimum wage, How can I afford to attend college if I don't receive an "A" grade? I believe this is something for the Leaders/Human Resources to consider and take into account.

Pros

Great people to work with

Cons

Leadership is stagnant and unwilling to learn modern technology or skills. Leaders are people that have high tenure but lack experience from outside of the organization. Resistance to new technologies and techniques are very frustrating to all.
