Will drop you in an instant. I was there for almost a year, given a healthy bonus, approved to move into a new position. Two weeks later was called into my bosses office and told my position was eliminated effective immediately. I never had a bad review, never reprimanded or warned for anything at all. If there was something I did wrong I was never told nor given the chance to correct it. I was cut in an instant like I was nothing and not given any sort of severance package. I had every reason to believe I was doing great and moving up in the company. Completely blindsided.
