Potential to be great, but very poor management decisions
Pros
- If you get on a good team, this job can be amazing. - Fun environment. - Get to learn about and work with cutting edge technology companies. - Decent compensation structure. - Promotes from within. - PTO is the best I have seen. - Work/life balance is pretty good. - Gym and cafeteria on site.
Cons
- If you get on the wrong team, you are screwed and you will not be allowed to be moved to another team. - Very young staff which leads to a whole host of problems. - Promotions in many cases are given to people who are personal friends of upper management rather than top performers or peoples whose skill set it fits. - Extremely high turnover. Much like with the promotions, turnover is rarely based on performance and is usually based on whether your manager likes you. - Health benefits are not very good. - Training doesn't focus enough on what will end up being your core job functions.
