ZERO STARS!!! WORST PLACE!!!

Pros

There were once some nice people there.

Cons

Every person I have ever known that has worked here, had red flags in the very beginning, even in the interview process. Don't ignore those red flags, trust your gut and run far away from this place. Don't let them convince you that you will ever get a bonus, you won't. If you do make the decision to work here. Here is how it will go down, the CEO (read other reviews for details on her) will make you think that you are the best hire they've ever had. She will spend months publicly singing your praises. She'll bad mouth other employees to you, past and present, and make you feel like you're part of an exclusive club. She does this with literally every new hire. Until something doesn't go the way she wants it to with a customer, and then look out. It doesn't matter who is to blame, she likes to pick the most recent hire managing that business, even though there are issues with all their customer relationships. She has a small group of Directors/Managers/VPs (their titles change regularly but their skill set never improves) that can do no wrong. None of these people actually have any experience or interest in being managers. They also have no idea how to move the business forward. Old products and old designs are constantly recycled to the point where the customers notice and comment on it. Sourcing is a big roadblock here, both in management and in opportunity for growth of the company. Many of the chosen factories cannot execute on producing the products and the ones that are, are shown little respect. Finally the biggest issue with Gartner...Lack of respect for people. Even basic common courtesies do not exist. There's no time for pleasantries and they couldn't even fake them if they tried.

Worst Culture EVER

Pros

There are some incredibly kind and hardworking employees!!!! Pretty products!

Cons

- The CEO is the #1 reason the company culture is so poor. She creates a hostile work environment and treats everyone as though they are disposable. She is manipulative, and any shred of kindness is actually a ploy to use you as a pawn. She takes advantage of people's willingness to work hard and doesn't truly care about anyone but herself. - The rest of the management team lets the CEO walk all over them so there is no one to keep her erratic and manic behavior in line. - The designers are forced to crank out art and aren't allowed to have an opinion or participate in strategy. - Vacation/PTO time is limited and not respected. - No raises. - Unrealistic sales goals so bonuses are basically non existent. - Countless inappropriate/lawsuit worthy comments (racist, sexist, etc)

Pros

The majority of employees were likeable.

Cons

Little to no training for new employees. Unreasonable expectations. High turnover. Little respect. Long hours, overtime expected. Poor communication. Upper management did not trust employees, creating a very uncomfortable, unhappy work environment. Unorganized. Unethical and wasteful company.
