Most employees are very independent and work on their own without much oversight. This can lead to a lot of responsibility if that is what your seek, or alternatively little responsibility if you position yourself right.

Cons

Company is disorganized, lacks leadership, vision or long term goals. Currently lacks funding. Uncertain future for the US employees.

Overall good company with long term solutions, but with growth slowed by a merger transition phase

Pros

Friendly and competent team. A lot of time to explore different approaches to a problem. Ability to work with many different technologies. Standard working hours with some overtime during releases.

Cons

Acer - Gateway transition period is taking awhile to process. In the meantime there is not much work to be done while senior management sorts everything out. No free food/drinks like many other companies.
