*Gatik is a very well managed stage show with lots of smoke screens and mirrors. Have to give it to them for staging this. When the core engineering team realized what they are up to, they left. (A quick search on LinkedIn will be helpful) * Quick to hire and fire if you don't toe their line - a lot of people were hired and fired when they questioned the approach of the company. Some were even let go before there options were due to vest. People who are subservient to their needs are rewarded.It works for them because like I said, this company is not about innovation, all about show and mirrors. *Afraid to hire competent people - because competent people question and take no short cuts. A quick LinkedIn search will show you that all core engineering now is mostly new grads and people with very minimal experience in the AV domain. * No real IP - open source AV stack tweaked that works at times. (You obviously didn't expect a 10 person team to put a AV stack from scratch, didn't you ?)
