      Company falling off a cliff

      Pros

      Where available you get to learn cash commodity trading. However, this is not taught, you have to figure out much of it yourself. Good for go getters. Salary is decent but you're stuck in Omaha!

      Cons

      Its a fratboy culture. Need to have been part of ConAgra Trade Group to have any pull in the company. Bonuses are awful and since the Marubeni deal. Work for gavilon for a year then go get paid elsewhere. However- not sure how far you'll get in interviews telling people you were trading gerbil food for a living.

      Pros

      Friendly environment where the people who work there and their actions bring in the revenue and serve as their competitive advantage. Pay scales for most roles are good to above average compared to other local companies.

      Cons

      Open work environment can be noisy and distracting. If you do not have a direct role in generating revenue then you have a more limited career path.

      Pros

      Fun to place to work. Good opportunity for growth if willing to relocate if needed. Great benefits package for employees.

      Cons

      Uncertainty with the future concerning acquisitions by foreign investors. Some days the pace can be slow and drag on while others the work load is heavy.
