Pros

Always had the opportunity to learn something new in technology

Cons

Very understaffed to save money at the expense of other employees and clients. Expect to do the work of 3 people and be constantly pulled in many directions. Poor management that often neglected to do their fair share. Looked down upon for taking our breaks or lunches because it was so understaffed and there was nobody to cover. Service center and remote support never took responsibility for their actions and we were left to pick up the pieces. Frequently received client's devices back from the service center not repaired or broken moreso than before. Pay and benefits were downright insulting for all of the work I had to take on myself to fix the mistakes made by others and to endure the backlash of angry clients. This is not an IT environment, it is sadly just a sales/customer service position and I had to learn that the hard way. You will be harped on to sell more and more. They will try to brainwash you into believing the services are worth the money when the shoddy work done is definitely not. Quantity over quality mentality like many other retailers. I'm not sure how anyone with any decent work ethic can put up with a place like this. This is not a company I could stand behind and now understand why there is so much negativity in regards to Geek Squad. Best Buy is a sinking ship and I am glad I jumped off in time.

Pros

solid foundation of teamwork and trust, everyone has a passion for technology and customer service, never a dull moment as there are always new problems and new solutions found out every day, employees are frequently recognized by managers for customer compliments, hours are very flexible

Cons

quite a lot of learning activities to do, can get incredibly busy sometimes to the point where it seems like we are severely understaffed

Pros

I had great co workers, they did giveaways and sometimes celebrated employees.

Cons

Management was horrible. Once they wanted you out they did what they could do to make you quit.
