Cons

VERY young immature atmosphere Repetitive and some times extremely boring Silly and not needed traditional Geek Squad agent uniform as it is a warehouse atmosphere

It looks good on a resume, and its great customer service experience. I work on a pretty good team where people take ownership and ask for help when needed

Cons

Geek Squad (inside bestbuy) does not mean over the phone tech support. We don't sit and wait for you, like a call center in the store because we are actually working on computers and fixing customer problems. There is a 1-800 number for that and sorry its not free. We wouldn't be in business if it was.

-Great for learning to troubleshoot a variety of issues, hardware, software, and malware -Fast paced with ever changing initiatives and environment -Learn how to explain complex issues simply to those unfamiliar or several lacking knowledge -Great benefits if your full time -Great work culture for the most part

Cons

-Sales heavy and focused -The pay sucks for the amount of work and often stress -High turnover in many positions -New ownership killed the Geek Squad culture which was one of the best 4 or 5 years ago, customers notice from their end as well
