      management is bias and you have to make them feel special to get you to take a leave

      Wonderful organization

      Pros

      Geisinger takes their commitment to employees seriously. The health benefits are outstanding, provided through the insurance arm of the organization. The company promotes growth from within and continuing education, including tuition reimbursement. Overall, the employees are kind and care deeply for the patients, clients, members and their community.

      Cons

      Some departments have incredibly high turnover, especially in the support areas, and many of the locations Geisinger has properties, including the headquarters, are in small towns. Although bigger cities are within a 2.5 or 3 hour drive, it's still some distance away. Some may have a difficult time adjusting to small town life, and many employees within the organization were born, raised or moved back to the area of employment.

      Insurance and benefits are amazing. Schedule is out 1 month in advance

      Cons

      Part time staff pays tons for insurance. No procedures for work. People are afraid to go to hr
