Pros

Busy floor with a lot of patient activity. Keeps the job from getting boring because you never really know what's going to happen around you during your shift

Cons

The job by itself is repetitive and not very challenging. Lots of filing and record keeping. No promotion opportunities and on average 50 cent raises. Once you meet the maximum hourly wage for your position, you will receive a small bonus, but no raise.

Not worth it

Pros

I have nothing positive to offer here unfortunately other than its a good hospital for patients but I did not enjoy working here

Cons

No one actually tells you what to do. On countless occasions I got put in rooms with people knowing nothing about what I was or wasn't allowed to do as far as the patient went. Spent countless hours in rooms with patients that threatened to kill me bc their mental state was so far gone. Crazy hours low pay absolutely not worth the headache that comes with this position.
