Pros
There are absolutely no pros to working here.
Cons
Working here, especially within the lab department, is probably the worst decision you'll ever make. The pay is absolute TRASH. You're working in a hospital, putting yourself at risk every single day, and you're doing it for a whopping $15.25/hr. Not to mention, the hours are ALSO trash. If you want to work somewhere that offers a work/life balance, this isn't the place for you, either. Your mornings WILL start at 4-5AM, you'll have rotating weekends and holidays, and good luck getting a day off. They make YOU find someone to cover your shift, and if you can't find anyone willing, you're basically sh*t out of luck. They're constantly hiring for day shift because the turnover rate is insane. There is ZERO professionalism, management is a joke, the entire department is petty, and there is absolutely NO "teamwork" here. A majority of the other Phlebs. will avoid entering certain patient rooms, and actually HIDE from the floor they're supposed to be on to purposely avoid having to do their jobs. If you are any type of person that sticks up for themselves, you won't make it here. It's all about seniority, rather than respect, and all of the "supervisors" are legitimately useless. They will legitimately harass you and make your life hell, expect you to bend over and take it, and the second you stand up for yourself, they'll fire you for having a "negative attitude". This place is a nightmare, and I can't believe I ever worked there in the first place, let alone for such a pitiful excuse for an hourly wage. If you're a Phlebotomist, work in a Plasma Center. The clientele is nicer, the hours are better, and the pay is a lot higher. Avoid this place completely.
