Pros

Overall - this is a solid place to work. They have an excellent training and second heading culture.

Cons

Salaries are significantly lower than the marketplace. While total compensation is good when overall results are favorable. Total compensation is below average when results are not stellar, regardless of employee work performance and your contribution to the underwriting success of your unit. Promotions for top performers are slow and based more on time than performance.

Pros

Compensation is still comparatively generous but it has diminished significantly every year. Opportunity to transfer to other positions within the Company are ample. Some flex time and telecommuting options available.

Cons

Culture is oppressive. Termination can be heartless sudden and unexpected. Direct managers can not always influence this decision. No regard for years of service. No regard for anything other than the bottom line profit margin. Company has Mission statement to reduce overhead. Do more with less and out source wherever possible is the goal.
