      Pros

      For Chinese employees: company is sort of Supportive of your visa or green card application. For American employees, working here provides a glimpse of Chinese culture. And That's it!

      Cons

      Just check the retention rate, ask about the reporting system and find out the mandatory calls to headquarters in China, You'll figure out about cons yourself.

      Pros

      Friendly environment, co-worker in the same department is very willing to help out when the situation demands it. Communications between management and team member have been increasing, and to great effect. Prone to promote within the company, as long as you are willing to work hard, and stuck to the same company.

      Cons

      Very stingy with vacation/holiday. As a provider for federal institutes, it should provide at least 5 days of sick time, we only get three, now two more days as personal days, which requires supervisor approval. No holidays between Jan to the end of May, and no veteran's day, or several other federal holidays. Total only 7 days of holiday time in the whole year.

      Local management is supportive of personal growth and professional training opportunities Job stability and competitive salaries, especially in comparison to academic research

      Cons

      Workload is on the heavier side as company is scaling up You will sometimes need to get through a heavy dose of bureaucracy to get things done
