      thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear the comment about our pay and benefit. Although individual compensation is performance based which I cannot comment, one fact is that our benefits, including vacations/leaves, health insurance, 401K, FSA/DCA and meal plan, have improved a lot during the past 3 years and become very competitive.

      Pros

      Huge product portfolio and good customer base, always innovating and have something new to offer. Good benefit. The company is also trying very hard to nurture a diverse and positive culture.

      Cons

      Shipping and custom issues due to the fact that the production site is in China.

      A very fast growing company, a lot opportunities within company. Chinese is a plus

      Workload is sometimes overwhelming, night conference is sometimes needed between different countries. Benefits and salaries need to be more competitive and attractive

      I just want to point out. All the positive reviews look so fake. I don't think anyone who actually work here will leave such positive reviews. All the positive reviews were in the past 2 months, but during the last few years, this company always receive negative reviews, isn't it odd? If you check carefully, all the positive reviews have similar formant and even made same grammar mistakes.

      Well, like all other REAL reviews said. No work-life balance, Poor benefits etc. If you are in the sales team, the goal getting more and more higher, I think in this Q, only few sales can get commission. The base salary for sales person are typically very low. If you are in the TAM team, you have to work 9-10 hours per day in order to get everything done. If you are in shipping/lab. you can barely survive with the money they give you. ......

      first of all we don't care about score, what we care is everyone has fair chance of voice, you are free to voice your opinion and others who have been here for years and liked the company also have theirs. You only speak for yourself. also, regarding the sales goal, we are a growing company and our revenue grows more than 20% every year, and the sales goal grows like that too, did our sales team deliver the number? well Genscript is a public traded company and everyone can check our annual and bi-annual financial reports.

      The management is really involved in team building and employee skill development. the benefits are good as well!

      Cons

      There is not much flexibility in the job. The times and teams were stagnant in their positions.

      Great company to learn and grow

      Pros

      1. Very dynamic environment. The management team always exploring new ways to improve our work efficiency and employee benefits. 2. Great learning place for new graduates. Companies offer a wide range of service portfolio and keep developing new technologies/services to fulfill the increasing demand of different research areas. Whichever the position you are at, you will have lots of opportunities to acquire new knowledge and grow with the company. 3. Nice people. Most people I have met here are super nice and willing to share and help. Also, you will find a lot of very smart people and you would absolutely learn a lot from them.

      Cons

      Sometimes working overtime may be needed but I dont think it is a problem for young people who are eagerly want to learn more. Compensation could be a little bit better.

      - Provide good opportunities to young people just graduated from the school and provide good training on different skills - Also a good place for someone who need a stable job to support the family, and also a good life-work balance. - Great people to work with - Fast growing company with opportunities from time to time - Salary and benefits has been improved over the last 3 years (such health insurance, etc.)

      Dynamic and fast paced working environment witha few caveats

      Pros

      - Great learning experience and alternative career options especially for those coming from Research (postdocs, PhD students, Grad students) - Meal subsidies - Above average compensation and benefits - CEO is nice and friendly - Free parking space - Management is doing its best to accommodate concerns of staff - Business is growing and have lots of potential - Friendly and approachable HR staff

      Cons

      - Too much focus on KPI vis a vis Commission. Almost everyone is talking about KPI and their bonus ( or lack thereof) - Quite a culture struggle for non-Chinese - Expect to work beyond 8 hours without OT pay - Favoritism (some) - Medical Insurance provider is not good
