My coworkers, DOR, and proximity to my home.

Cons

Pretty much everything else. Haven’t had a raise since I started 6 years ago so fresh college grads can make more than me while the company continues to require additional responsibilities. Productivity and efficiency are completely unrealistic and unethical and, while they demand you treat more and more patients throughout the day, they also make you watch these ridiculous videos on how to do your job created by people that haven’t been in the field since I was born, if at all. They are wholly influenced by numbers and profits and care nothing about their low level employees (ya know, the only ones actually making money FOR them) or their patients.

Can pick up hours at other facilities if they have any to give.

Cons

Con artists. Will make you harass a demented patient for 60 minutes and force you to bill it as education. Very little vacation and don't let you use it. Expensive insurance plans that are not good. Pay less than most

Clients are great, most co-workers are kind and helpful, although the agency co-workers are generally not so great, some are, but most aren't, most nurses are great, others nurses are the bottom of the barrel, as they sit around, want to delegate, but not do their jobs. They complain about the CNA's, and that is Sad!

Cons

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible staffing problems. If I could make this a negative con, I would, as it is just that bad. Care plans are impossible to uphold with being so short staffed. Then, on top of that, the new ED says, "Absolutely NO overtime".
