Lots of freedom to innovate

Pros

Lots of freedom and good culture on the PureCloud side, you can run Linux if you want, lots of flexibility in determining how you design and implement things. The UX guys pushed me to go beyond a good-enough UI to something fun to use.

Cons

Being on-call is a responsibility to think about; compliance training; it's often hard to understand how the rah-rah talk from corporate level applies.

Thank you for your positive review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying your experience here. We are lucky to have an onsite medical clinic in our Indy office, which we think is a great perk. If you have other suggestions about ways we can improve our benefit programs, reach out to our Benefits Manager. That’s me. Lisa (Lisa Markland, Benefits Manager)

Good People

Pros

Excellent people, especially in Raleigh. Highly intelligent, driven, know how to have a good time. Very little politics compared to other companies their size. Leadership is also great, especially for the development and testing orgs. Upper management authentically cares about their people.

Cons

After two acquisitions, career growth opportunities in Raleigh seems to be slowing down. Not a lot of opportunity for increased responsibility or to distinguish ones self. Leadership does care about its people and will put in the effort to do what they can, but after the 12/16 acquisition, it felt like many of them had their "hands tied" and were faced with new found restrictions in what they could do.
