      Sales process is great, but post-sale is AWFUL!

      Pros

      Good salary and compensation. If you are a hard worker and a self-starter, you will do well. I had a great boss in my territory that didn't try to micro-manage me but did his best to support my efforts.

      Cons

      It is really hard to bring in a big fish and once you do, that's when things will go terribly wrong. From bad implementation timelines to outright rude behavior by the project management team, it will leave you red-faced when you check in with the customer. PureCloud goes down all the time and support is in Asia. All of my customers hated support. Yes, it's cheaper to have your support in Asia, but at what cost? Customers would do well to read these reviews to help make the determination of what is really under the hood. In a nutshell, Genesys PureCloud is unreliable, support is terrible, and implementation will not go as well as you planned.

      It was a good place

      Pros

      Once a month they have bagels and host a lunch. Every Monday there is fresh fruit.

      Cons

      Since they bought interactive intelligence things have gone downhill. At first they said they will be laying off redundant postions and it will end in December. Well it hasn’t stopped. One day I came into work and there were security guards and they wacked a complete department. People are quitting and not being replaced. They just gave their job to someone else. Now management has said no job is safe. When you send someone a question via email or by vmail it is impossible to get an answer.

      Go Elsewhere For Now - Former Interactive Intelligence Employee

      Pros

      The health care benefits are pretty good. Fairly low deductible on the HSAs. The company is growing rapidly and there ought to be a lot of opportunities because of that in the future.

      Cons

      Incredibly unstable at any former Interactive Intelligence location, lack of management coordination, and a non-functioning HR department.

      Thanks for posting. It’s always interesting to hear how people are feeling about the integration. I agree that regular emails aren’t always enough as far as communication goes, but I would propose to you that communication is a two way street. If you have questions or feel there are things that need to be answered on a broader level, let someone internally know.
