      Mediocre management, plenty of politics.

      Pros

      People on the ground who do the day to day work are quite nice. The work can be interesting at times.

      Cons

      Lots of lay-off rounds, single digit growth rates and management that has been around for years create plenty of politiks and favoritism. Not much advancement. Company is very cheap too in terms of compensation, no free lunches, etc.

      Pros

      Great products. Best CX in the industry. The company is very open to creative ideas

      Cons

      Despite record revenues last year, very low raises. Some departments are great to work for and mine used to be. Genesys has always been a company that can get bogged down in processes, and it seems new policies constantly get added that increase the amount of process involved, which slows down progress. The company used to have very low turnover. That increased big time last year and no signs of slowing down this year.

      Thank you for your review. I agree…we do have great market offerings that allow us to be the undisputed leader in the CX industry. If you’ve been here for 5 years like I have, you’ve seen a lot of change – I’m glad to see you’ve held on through thick and thin as we evolve and grow. There are times when we do need process, but we really try to not be bureaucratic. Our culture is one of innovation and being open to new ideas – feel free to submit your thoughts on how to make things better through our Make it Easy initiative (crowdsourced improvement suggestions) to help us make Genesys an ever better place to work.       Best place to work not consistent with the experience in my department.

      Pros

      Overall professional, committed and friendly environment. Good products and market leader with a strong investment in research and development. Generally very energetic environment.

      Cons

      There is no work/life balance in my department. Honestly the worse place to work I’ve ever seen from this standpoint. Sadly I would not recommend working here.
