Acquisitions, layoffs, and uncertainty...

Pros

Good benefits (and severance to those that are affected by layoffs), they prioritize devops and automation. They seem to be fairly successful. A big TBD on how they handle accountability in management.

Cons

They are comfortable with outsourcing which is a shame. They have a preference for e-training over in person classes (management training specifically). This is not nearly as beneficial. It is hard to feel positive about a company while an acquisition is occurring and the general morale throughout is abysmal.

Thanks for your post. I appreciate your acknowledgment on the benefits. We actually don't do that much outsourcing, but we are very diverse, with a global footprint and employees in approximately 50 countries. I hear you on the e-training; I agree that classroom training is nice, but as spread out as we are, online on demand training and webinars generally make the most sense. Please reach out to your HR Partner to talk about your specific concerns, because we do offer certain in person classes. Lots of changes right now, I know - hang in there! It will settle down soon. Pros

When I first started the culture was awesome. We had plenty of outings, parties, and other team building activities. There were create opportunities to grow and advance in your career, really felt like a place that I was going to stay.

Cons

As we got closer to the Merger, I feel like the culture changed a bit. Lost quite a few good people and just doesn't feel the same anymore.

Pros

The company is very good at selling its software

Cons

Company is making huge profits but continues to drive the employees into the ground. Whenever there is a chance the employees can make their bonuses they change the rules to ensure they cant get their bonus.

I am surprised by your message. It's true we are doing very well...and as a result, we've had a great track record of paying bonuses generously for the past several years. Of course, we do pay for performance and goal achievement, so there is some differentiation. If you have questions or concerns about your own bonus payments or how they are calculated, I encourage you to reach out to your manager or someone on the HR team.
