      Pros

      Free Cup-O-Noodles (if this can even be counted as a pro...) Free coffee. The women here are horrendous, therefore there is nothing to distract you from your work.

      Cons

      Constant Russian chatter. God help you if you don't speak Russian, nobody will take the time to inform you of what's going on. Nobody respects you if you speak English. Horrible pay. It takes forever to get any kind of promotion. Good luck taking time off, despite there being an open vacation policy. Suffers from a serious case of Not-Invented-Here syndrome. Your code is constantly invaded, and pillaged by half-witted numbnuts that would rather change your code to kowtow to a half-baked QE test, rather than fix the test.

      Good work/life balance but don't expect much compensation

      Pros

      Stable company, good people, good work life balance and a strong future.

      Cons

      Expect to be paid 20% under market value for your work. Raises are often delayed and are always very small even with promotions. If you want to earn what you're worth you need to leave for a few years to get a real salary and then return so that Genesys will match it. (many do this)

      Thanks for writing. I agree with you on the positives. People do leave and come back occasionally, but in my experience it's usually because they realized the grass wasn't greener on the other side of the fence after all. I'm sorry to hear you believe that you aren't fairly compensated. This is something you should proactively discuss with your manager, or HR partner.

      Pros

      If you are looking for a great opportunity to learn and develop a career is the place to be. I have recently joined Genesys and it feels great to be among smart and motivated people, with a Management team that is attentive to its team and a company which such a remarkable and robust suite of solution!

      Cons

      I don't feel we are kept up to date enough on the company strategy, vision, initiatives from the leadership team.
