      Pros

      Relations between companies and its customers will not go away, thus advanced CX related knowledge you can get in this company will be your lasting strength.

      Cons

      knowledge base in the company is broad and deep, but often unstructured. Need to know people to get to the right info.

      Co-workers definately feel like family. Genesys has an amazing talent pool which is a key asset. Very innovative company - from both product and work culture perspective.

      Ineffective acquisition migration

      Pros

      Great company if you're in Genesys proper.

      Cons

      Genesys hands over existing teams to the acquired company and from my experience doesn't do due diligence on the company it's purchasing. Angel has a dysfunctional management team and needs guidance from Genesys. Customers are not as happy as Angel touts and solutions are suffering.

Our thorough cross departmental due diligence and integration efforts are completed by a joint team among both Genesys and the acquired company, so that we collaborate effectively and come together as a combined team. Since becoming private, we have completed 9 acquisitions to date, and our process is always evolving and improving.
