They say they have an open door policy and if something isn't working we will listen. But when you try to tell them this you get shot down and told you're wrong. But the work that's being done is showing it's not very frustrating

The amount of worked dumped on branch leaders is physically and mentally impossible to keep up with. 14-16 hour days and double the on call makes it impossible to ensure staff and patients have the support and education needed for quality end of life care. They micromanage each branch in a way that creates endless struggles in performing basic everyday tasks. The staffing model ratios for branch administrative and leadership positions is abysmal. Kindred used to be a company full of talent. Now the ideal employee stares at a never ending task list, clicks buttons, and keeps their mouth shut- no cognitive function required. Unfortunately, this is what they want. They don’t give a damn about employees or quality care.
