Pros

Caring for the patients and their families was the greatest part of the job. The HHA’s, Chaplain and CPM were wonderful.

Cons

Brought in a lot of outside staff to see patients. Spent a lot of time riding the clock with nothing to do.

Working with patients and families dealing with terminal illnesses is difficult but amazing. You meet some wonderful people and get the pleasure of hearing some of the most amazing life stories. You will be inspired daily and will definitely re-evaluate what is important in life if you fully invest in this work.
