Pros

Wonderful off shore contractors relationships, skilled vendors for aerial services, LIDAR/Image collection, skilled staff for field and office roles. State of the art autonomous driving program and IP. Highly endorsed software applications for the utility vegetation management industry with robust functionality and integration with COTS systems.

Cons

Rotating executives with little or no understanding of remote sensing, utilites, or enterprise solutions for transmission and distribution. Plagued by constant cash flow problems with a subsequent loss of vendor confidence. Executive staff is constantly focused on maximizing revenue while sacrificing the quality of product and placing the business development staff against a wall. Sales staff does not receive booking credit or commissions if deals do not meet a base gross margin. When sales or booking credit is given to the sales rep, the payouts are based on cash flow which again is very spotty. Long time employees that hold the knowledge base of data collection, analytics, and software are leaving in droves while upper tiers of management all enjoy six figure salaries. The current technology platforms for remote sensing and work management software haven't seen real investment in 5 years as executive staff squeezes the company dry.

Pros

Easy to get hired due to rapid expansion of company. Learned many skills that I would not have otherwise acquired and looks decent on my resume

Cons

No compensation for the people at the bottom doing all of the work. Not even a thought of bonuses. No raises came with my promotion. The executives make all the decisions, yet you will never see or meet them. They simply discuss the great year the company had and the millions in revenue that was made. They tell you about how hard working everyone is and how they're going to make even more money next year, yet you will see none of it and have no idea who these people are.

Pros

Products and people are well-respected in the electric utility industry. Very smart people in the technical areas of the company. Future development has potential for significant successes.

Cons

Constant restructuring, reorganizing and re-branding made consistent and successful approach to sales, management and customer relations next to impossible. Severe rounds of layoffs have made loyal and long-term employees fearful of next cuts.
