Professional colleagues, nicely decorated “high end” work environment. Scheduling staff in therapy department is kind, responsive and generally excellent with patient/ client interactions. 401 k plan and health benefits are a major plus.

Cons

High number of patients, 35 direct client facing hours per week, which is high for a therapist. There are extensive, and many times redundant clinical notes with the clinical notes software. Some of this is insurance driven and can’t be changed. Expect mandatory meetings during your “lunch” on some days. Some are recorded and you may be able to view the meeting later in your day. Expect to work a lot of hours, both with clients and with prepping your charts and completing your notes at the end of the day. Work- life balance is not great.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. It sounds like you didn't know there is an option to reduce your caseload. We have therapist working 27 or 24 patient facing visit hours per week, your manager can share that respective compensation level with you. Will share your CEU suggestion with HR as well.

The Geode Health mission is genuinely felt across the org. There’s alignment between the core values and what people are asked to do, especially in patient‑facing roles. There's also incredible work-life balance and a respect for boundaries.

Cons

Rapid growth can cause growing pains as with any booming company. Luckily Geode has phenomenal leadership to help navigate this pressure!
